1. What does Comet Cards offer?

Comet Cards sells ready-made LD, PF, and CX case packets and provides custom debate-production services.

You may purchase a completed Comet Cards release or ask Comet Cards to cut an article, research an argument idea, build a round-ready position, create an argument packet, or write blocks and frontlines.

You do not need to provide an article. An argument idea is enough.

New full-topic Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum releases are $25 each.

The Comet Cards Policy/CX annual topic collection is $75 when purchased directly from Comet Cards.

Earlier, limited-edition, and legacy products may remain available at their currently displayed prices.

Discounted season passes, event bundles, and the discounted CX annual collection are available exclusively through Speech Geek when those products are released.

Each new release contains one or more complete, round-ready cases or positions for the advertised event, topic, and side.

Depending on the release, customer materials may include:

  • Complete cases or argument positions
  • Properly cut evidence with tags, full citations, and warrant underlining
  • Analytical extensions
  • Blocks and frontlines
  • Round-use strategy guidance
  • Quick-use materials or preflows
  • Source and argument maps
  • Editable DOCX files

Cut My Article — $15

Send one accessible article, webpage, report, or PDF of up to 25 pages or approximately 12,000 words.

Receive up to eight strategically useful evidence cards with accurate tags, complete citations, warrant underlining, and Comet Cards formatting.

This service does not include locating the source, building a position, or writing blocks.

Build a Position from My Idea — $30

Give Comet Cards one defined argument idea. No article is required.

Comet Cards will research and produce one coherent, round-ready position using up to six evidence cards from up to four sources. The position includes a clear thesis, appropriate argument components, basic analytics, and professional organization.

This service covers one contention, framework, advantage, disadvantage, kritik shell, counterplan, or similar position. It does not include a complete multi-position case or separate blocks.

Build a Complete Packet from My Idea — $45

Give Comet Cards one defined argument idea.

Comet Cards will research and develop it into a complete argument packet using up to ten evidence cards from up to six sources. The packet includes a complete argument shell or position, organized extensions, analytical explanation, basic round-use guidance, and professional formatting.

Separate answers to opposing arguments are not included unless purchased through the Blocks or Frontlines service.

Add Blocks or Frontlines — $15

One $15 unit includes either:

  • Up to three analytic blocks using existing evidence; or
  • One researched, evidence-supported frontline or block.

The customer must provide the case, position, or opposing argument that needs to be answered. Additional units may be purchased by increasing the product quantity.

For example, you may order a position by saying, “Build a Hegelian kritik on the space topic.”

Yes. All custom services must be paid in full before production begins.

Each purchase covers one defined article, position, packet, or block set within the scope shown on the product page.

If the submitted request clearly exceeds the purchased service, Comet Cards will contact the customer before beginning work. The customer may purchase the additional service required or receive a refund.

Provide the event, resolution, side, argument idea, source links, and instructions during checkout.

If files cannot be uploaded during checkout, email them to Comet Cards after payment and include your WooCommerce order number.

Customers ordering from an idea alone do not need to send a file.

Article-cutting orders are normally completed within one to two business days.

Positions and argument packets normally require two to five business days, depending on complexity, source availability, and current workload.

Larger projects and peak-season orders may require additional time. Comet Cards will contact you if the requested work cannot be completed within the normal period.

Corrections to Comet Cards’ work are included at no additional charge.

A correction includes fixing an evidence-cutting, citation, formatting, or implementation error.

Changing the topic, side, argument, advocacy, philosophical approach, or requested product after work begins is not a correction and may require another purchase.

Comet Cards does not sell or share the customer’s exact custom file, private materials, order details, or strategic instructions with another team.

Publicly available sources and broad argument concepts are not exclusive. Another customer may independently request research concerning the same public source, philosophy, topic, or general argument.

Any request for exclusive ownership of a broader argument concept must be agreed to separately in writing.

Ready-made products are delivered digitally through the purchase and download process.

Completed custom orders are delivered digitally to the email address associated with the order. Deliverables may include DOCX and PDF files depending on the service purchased.

Because ready-made products are digital downloads, those sales are generally final. Comet Cards will replace a corrupted, incomplete, or incorrect file.

Custom orders may be refunded when Comet Cards determines before beginning production that the request cannot be completed within the purchased scope.

Once custom production has begun, refunds are not available for a change of preference or strategic direction. Errors made by Comet Cards will be corrected at no additional charge.

Unless a product page states otherwise, a purchase is licensed for use by one school, debate program, or independent purchaser.

Files may be used by members of the purchasing school or program but may not be posted publicly, resold, forwarded to other programs, or placed in a shared public drive.
