1. How much does Comet Cards cost?

Our pricing is simple and transparent:

  • $35 for the first hour
  • $8.75 for each additional 15 minutes

This covers the time spent cutting, tagging, and citing your cards. Optional add‑ons are available for a minimal additional charge.

You can choose to add:

  • Underlining/Minimizing – +$5/hour
  • Highlighting – +$5/hour
  • Credibility Rating for each source – +$5/hour
  • Cuts from JPEGs – +$10/hour (in addition to the base rate)

You can mix and match these options as needed.

Currently most orders are completed within 1–2 business days. We aim to be available on Saturdays when possible, but weekend turnaround may vary based on workload.

Your cards are cut by a seasoned professional with decades of experience in competitive debate research and evidence preparation. This individual is independent and unaffiliated with any school, debate team, or coaching program, ensuring complete neutrality, confidentiality, and consistency across all projects. Each card is produced with precision, accuracy, and a commitment to the highest standards of the national debate community.

Yes. All uploaded documents remain confidential and are used only to produce your requested cards. We never share, publish, or reuse your material for other customers. Files are transmitted through secure, SSL‑encrypted connections and deleted after processing.

We’ll never share your upload, but others might coincidentally ask us to cut cards from the same article.

We accept:

  • Word documents (.doc, .docx)
  • PDFs (.pdf)
  • Google Docs links (ensure sharing is enabled)
  • Web links (publicly viewable articles)
  • Image files (.jpeg, .jpg, .png) — with a +$10/hour processing charge

If you have another format, contact us before uploading to confirm compatibility.

Once your cards are ready, you’ll receive an email notification. After payment is received, a Google Docs link will automatically appear on your screen and in your inbox. If you don’t see the link or encounter issues, contact us at cometcards25@gmail.com and we’ll resend access immediately.

All sales are final, but if a card is substantially miscut or contains a significant formatting or citation error, we’ll recut and resend it at no additional cost.

Refunds are not available for stylistic or preference‑based revisions, but we’re happy to recut additional versions upon request at the standard hourly rate.
